I want to move to Australia from the US but dont know how. There's a ton of visas and information that doesnt seem to be getting anywhere.

There is a bit more than a "want" to the requirements to obtain a visa for Australia.

Skills is something you might have that may lead to a visa - we do not have a lottery for visas, but if you have lots of money we can give you a visa pretty fast but with conditions.

In order to give you any help, you'll need to provide more info about yourself. There are two categories of visas that fit most situations:

- family-related: are you in a relationship with an Australian citizen or permanent resident? Or do you have parents/children who are?
- occupation or work-related: if a family-related visa isn't an option, then an occupation or work-related visa may be. What occupation do you have education and/or experience in? Not all occupations are eligible and the ones that are require some combination of education/experience in order to qualify for a visa.

There are additional types of visas but these usually require a large financial investment or other less common items.

Speaking with a migration agent may be a good first start to see what your options may be.
