Hi,
I have a visit visa application in process for 8 months. When the application was lodged for the first time, the applicants were in Pakistan. Now the applicants have moved to Canada.

Last time same applicants applied for Australian visitor visa from Canada it was granted in 3 weeks time.

My question: should I only "update the circumstances" in the current application OR should I withdraw the application and re-apply from Canada, given that it gets processed in just a few weeks time?

Any guidance on this will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Was that before Covid-19 stopped the majority of visitor visa grants, from anywhere in the world?

Yes that was August 2019. Even if it's being delayed due to COVID, you reckon withdrawing it and resubmitting it from Canada would be faster than leaving the application as-is?

Thank you for your reply.
