Hi,
My mum has a visitor visa granted 1st March 2019, multiple entry, and can stay 12 months in any 18 month period. She came for 7 months in 2019.
The visa says must not arrive after 1st March 2022.
Can she come next month and still stay 12 months as she arrived before 1st March 2022?

Called immi but they are inundated with calls and said call back later.

Thanks!

From what you have posted, yes.
Consider yourself lucky that they answered the phone at all.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. Yeh they didn't answer, it was a recording and it hung up after that message, didn't even allow me to await on hold.

Thanks for your insight. Many people think the 'must not arrive after' is the visa expiry date.
So technically, it is valid for 12 months from the 'must not arrive after' date.

So if she arrived 28th Feb 2022, she could stay 12 months and leave 27th Feb 2023 and not be in any breaches. I wouldn't cut it that close but technically speaking this is what the visa allows. Agreed?
