My relatives have submitted an application for a Visitor visa 600 for 6 months on the 16th of September 2017.

Considering the current processing time, when can we expect the visa to be finalised by the department ?

Timelines of recently issued visitor visas would help.

As at the end of September 2017, 75% of subclass 600 tourist stream visas took 14 days, another 15% took between 15 and 27 days with 10% taking over 27 days.

The 3 month ones would normally be faster. I found that the longer term took longer than the normal 3 month ones. Our last one was 5 weeks.

After a stay of 3 months when can one enter the country for another 3 months? Is there a cool off period ?
