Hi All,
I want to bring my parents to Australia on visitors visa.
I am not sure which stream to pick. Tourist or Family Sponsored.
I invited my partner to Australia on visitors visa family sponsored stream in June 2017. She hasn't left Australia thereafter. I applied for her partner PR. So currently she is on Bridging visa.
If I invite my parents on family sponsored visitor visa, I have to fill Form 1149, sponsorship form.
The first question in this form is
"Have you previously sponsored a visitor as a short stay sponsored visitor or a sponsored family visitor, and that visitor is still in Australia?"
Technically, the answer is YES. I sponsored my partner and she is in Australia since June 2017. But she is now on Bridging.
My question is will it reduce visa grant chances if I sponsor my parents visit to Australia knowing I already sponsored a family visitor, and that visitor is still in Australia?
