Hi all,
Thursday the 23rd November my wife received a letter from the Immigration minister Peter Dutton that her Citizenship has been approved and now we have to wait for the citizenship ceremony, we live in the City of Casey, they had 20 ceremonies this year and presume they will have the same amount next year, they had 7 ceremonies between Australia day and the end of April. We have booked a flight to Thailand at the end of April, I know it can take up to 6 months for the ceremony to happen, problem is though, my wife once she has taken the citizenship pledge, she has to get an Australian passport to leave the country,so hopefully she has the ceremony sooner than later.
does anyone have any insight as to the average waiting time in the City of Casey.
