Hi all,
I have perused the web for days now in order to gain a clearer insight as to what the above notion exactly entails. There seems to be mixed opinions regarding the fact that stated "qualification or award of recognised standard" should be from an Australian body or oversees.
Example: if a Uk painter & decorator has a UK certificate from the UK stating he has undergone all the relevant training in th UK, does this qualify for the 10 points?

Generally for Tradesperson, If you had undertaken a government recognised apprenticeship, this would be recognised as an appropriate qualification for 10 points. If you have not undertaken a government recognised apprenticeship then you can obtain an Australian trade qualification as part of the skill assessment process, particularly if you skill assessed by Vetassess.
