Hello there,
I am currently in Australia on a working holiday visa with my long term Australian partner. We are planning on applying for a partner visa in the next few months and now I'm wondering would it be better applying off shore (309/100) as the processing times are a lot shorter. We will also be away around the time we want to apply, visiting my family in Ireland for a few weeks. If we applied offshore when we're in Ireland would I be allowed back into Australia for the rest of my WHV (Due to expire end of Sept 2018) and would I automatically be put onto a bridging visa or is that only if we apply for the onshore Australian partner visa (820/801)?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
