Hi guys,

I want to apply for 489 visa.

I majored in electronic engineering in 2004. I also did phd degree in electrical power engineering from 2011 to 2018. Both degrees I hold received from overseas universities and I need to submit CDR to Engineers Australia.

I worked in industrial automation projects full time from 2004. This means that I have 14 years of work experience after taking master.

My question is that whether DIBP accepts my work experience and gives me 15 points for this, if I want to use the 5points of my PHD or not.
