My wife has been working as an escort in the Arab district of Bangkok. She is only getting enough money to get through each day until her partner visa is granted. It isn't the best job I suppose, but she has to feed her self somehow. She asked me to inform immigration that she is pregnant with my child, and so I have just done that today.
Is there a chance that this might help speed up the process. It has been almost 17 months and we had have expected her to be in Australia by now.
Unfortunately, most of her male clients are smokers, and we are both concerned for the health of our baby not to mention the stress of this job.

Pregnancy may well slow things down (with visa medicals). It certainly won't speed things up. Once the child is born, expect to be asked for DNA tests.

How is a DNA test done?. Especially if I am in Australia and she is in Thailand. Does it cost money? I am flat broke at the moment.
