Hi,

I have an employment verification call recently. The HR manager told some additional role & responsibilities I performed after visa application submission but not mentioned on the employer reference letter.

Is this normal?

What are the key items that the department verify during EV?

What you should have done was ensure that all relevant parties, including yourself, had copies of your employment certifications/duty statements to hand and declined to discuss their content with immigration without referring to them.

I and HR manager had hard copies but unfortunately he was out of office.

Do you see any chance of NJL? My application already took 18+ months.

Today I received a request for medical. Previous medical reports expired.

Can I consider that EV went successfully and visa grant is close?
