Hi
So I'm currently on my 1st year WHV until April, I left Australia last December for 2 months and applied for my 2nd year year visa while I was out of the country thinking it would be granted(took 6 weeks to hear back) before I flew back, got an email last week saying I had to depart Australia within 4 weeks because I entered oz before visa was granted, or else I could withdraw which I have done and waiting to hear back, just wondering has anyone experience on this
.
What exactly does withdrawing it mean?
After I re-apply, what are the chances of my visa been granted?
Also would this affect my application when I reapply will it be on record

I think if you've applied outside Australia, you need to be outside Australia in order for it to be granted. However I'd think they would simply wait to grant it until after you've gone offshore. Perhaps someone else can give more information though.

So did you withdraw your 2nd visa application?

Normally one should wait for the visa being granted before flying back to OZ, but your situation is a bit strange as you still got like 2 months before 1st visa expire, as even the 2nd visa being granted it still won't come into effect until your 1st visa runs out.
