This might have been mentioned already on the forum, but a new skilled jobs list has been released by Australian authorities for immigration. Great news! I believe it's a great opportunity for people who couldn't apply before because their job wasn't on the list, and I was wondering if this new list has made any difference for any of you?

I don't know how these lists are created.

Aircraft maintenance engineers are still on the list. There are no jobs.

If jobs are advertised they are contract only.

Wages have gone backwards as well.

I can't believe that an accountant is still on the list .... accountants are having trouble finding jobs.
