Yeah that is without them contacting you.

DIBP have never had to contact you to ask for more evidence and can make a decision based on what you have supplied. Nothing has changed there. It is just there are alot of nice case officers out there that ask for more evidence

A few weeks to 28 days sounds reasonable. I hope to have the main stuff uploaded within 2 weeks. I am trying to combine as much pdf files into 1 so I can make sure I am under the 60 limit.

To make your life easier don't forget that alot of banks you can download the bank statements. Also there is a site where you can merge and shrink pdf files.

Strangely Aus bank statements are every 6 months. My recent one has an old address on it. I used the electricity and internet bill. They are not joint accounts but have one of our names on it.

I am using adobe acrobat for pdf merging and comment writing onto the pdfs.

They are after joint bills to prove that you are living together.

I have a joint apartment lease and bond, joint bank, phone account with both numbers listed and civil partnership. If needed I can call the electricity, internet and phone to put it in a joint name. Do you recommend this?

My individual account is with Commonwealth Bank- they do statements every 3 months and the joint account with my husband is with NAB- they do every 2 months. Wonder why it's different for different banks

That is fine. You only mentioned a joint account with different address and individual account for electricity and internet. It always helps to have the full story .

The joint lease is great and joint phone bill as well.
