Question regarding Form 40SP for PMV visa

We had already lodged our forms but I still couldn't sleep regarding my application. Because on Form 40SP at question 41. No matter what the answer is, it seems to tell you to skip question 42 & 43.
41. Are you sponsoring a child aged under 18 years?
No -> Go to Part E
Yes -> Go to Question 44
So when I chose No, I go straight to Part E and thus skip question 42, 43 and 44. I'm just wondering if this is correct? Does any one else did the same? I just keep thinking why do they bother putting question 42 & 43? I just don't understand and can't sleep when ever I think about it?
If it's not correct and then they delay my fiancee because of this I will be so disappointed. Can someone tell me something, please.

If you aren't including a kid in your app. who is under 18, then do as the form says and go to Part E. Even if there are a few questions you skip, they aren't relevant to you and so you don't have to fill them in.

Calm down and think rationally. I know the visa process is stressful, but just follow what the forms tell you to do

Hi there,

When my partner (the sponsor) recently completed the 40SP, we noticed this too.

If you were to skip the questions (42 and 43) as indicated by immigration, you would miss questions which I believe are related to the sponsor, so these should in actaul fact be answered.

My partner answered NO to question 41 but answered 42 and 43, therefore not skipping as suggested by Immigration.

Hope this helps. Good luck

Nicki

Well, I guess if they didn't say anything about it, Sarah, then it wasn't a big deal. My husband went straight to part E, and the CO never asked about the missing questions, so if rayuth skips them I can't see it being a problem either.

Hi rayuth, just lookiNg at you question about form 40sp.
Actually i myself applied for pmv and i think that you are mistaken about the question.
Since you have Chose No on question 41, and they said that you should go to pjart E. Its doesn mean that you should skip question 42, 43, 44 coz they are the question related to your health issue.
If you haven't live in any country for more than 12 month, You dont have to answer question 44.
Best of luck.

They ask sponsors of kids under 18 to answer these questions to check they are not sex offenders or child abusers. So if you aren't sponsoring a kid under 18 I say skip it, or you could end up confusing DIAC and this could possibly lead to delays due to them trying to get a clear answer as whether you have a migrating kid under 18 or not.

Thank you all for your reply

I think aussiegirl is correct because after I review the question again it makes more sense. If I answered NO to question 41. I should go straight to part E. because question 42. ask about infection desease, mental and disability that may affect only if the person sponsoring has children under 18. And question 43. Just a break down of offences that has already been asked in question 39.

Now I can relax and wait patiently. Thank you all for your reply

Ok, now I am very confused about this part all over again. I just downloaded the updated form from 01/12 and it says:

"41. Are you an eligible New Zealand citizen?
No - go to part E.
Yes.

42.Have you ever had, or do you currently have tuberculosis or any other serious disease, condition or disability?

43. (Questions about crimes and offences) "

This seems like a mistake.... why would I only need to answer these questions if I am an eligible New Zealand citizen???????
