I am waiting since march 2011.

I am unware of the timelines before the process started. I applied for ACS in month of October 2010 and got it in the month of Jan 2011. With that I have submitted the application to Aus Immi through online in march 2011. Since then I am waiting....

Seems like I have to wait for very long time....

Well that wasn't a good thing for your consultant to say, and in fact very unfair because it made you believe the wrong thing. Each application is unique and while one application may take 12 months, another could take 14 or 15 or 16, ect... everyone has different processing times in general.

I hope you don't end up waiting too long, but that's what all visa applicants have to go through

I dont mind waiting for long time as well but as my consultant said that it will take 12 months, I am anxiously waiting for that, If not I would have waitied 24 months...

But now I have to check why he made such statements... Are there any cases where high risk 175 visa cases have ended successfully within 12 months... that might be the only answer I might here from my consultant... If that is the case, why is that happened?

And again I should be questioning, why not the same is not happening in my case?

Anyhow I will try to find it out from the consultant and get you information...

Have a good day

Have a look at the forum timelines:
http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-...lications.html

You'll find different processing times for the 175 visa. Be carefull, did you apply for the 175 or the 176 visa? 18 months is the standard for the 175, but for the 176 it's 18 months on SOL and 24 on SMP for high risk. Again, this is only the standard and doesn't mean that it will definately take that many months, it could be more or less. Have a look at the timeline link, you might find some cases of quick processing times.
