SA does not allow registering of the relationship.

When you go to register the relationship you need to show proof that you are residing in that state (or that is how it works in QLD).

Just looked up NSW and they said "At least one person in the relationship must reside in NSW. "

Immigration has to go by legislation by are bound by it. They can't just grant a visa because they seem like a nice couple but don't meet the legislative requirements.

There is Mark, CCMS, Jeremy Hooper. Just search the forum for them.

It would be nice but ultimately they don't. The sheer number of applications received and the insufficient resources to deal with them all basically means if the application doesn't meet the criteria - visa denied and onto the next one. Rejection of applications tends to come back a lot quicker than grants.

If you look at the Ask Mark thread at the top of the forum threads,Mark Northman is a very well respected migration agent who has helped countless people on this board. Posting on that thread or sending him a PM would be a good way to start.

Best of luck to you. This process isn't easy
