820 GRANTED after 21 months!

I have posted here on and off since my husband and I began preparing to lodge our 820 application in early 2013.

Well, after 21 long months we finally received notification this week that the 820 has been granted! This 21 month period included a refusal (due to schedule 3) and a review at the MRT in which we were successful.

Our baby is due in only six days. We can finally relax and begin life as a family.

Thank you to all for your posts and words of wisdom. I was often silently reading and absorbing what was said.

To those going through a difficult journey with immigration, hang in there!!

Congrats. That's a very long months. Mine took just 2 days to be approved. From a high risk country but may be because I was on PMV 300 that's why. Happy for you

Yes, that is exactly why yours was fast - almost all PMV to 820 applications are that fast (or close to that fast). It's also a little insensitive to brag about how fast yours was when someone else's took 21 months... anyway...

Congrats again, hoping and dreaming.

Not bragging. Just wondering why its too long. Or is it because I was having pmv300. ?
