Your thoughts on our evidence

Hi there,

We actually already applied for the 820/801 De facto partner visa but I'm sure like most of you guys, we can't stop thinking about it.. wondering if theres something we've forgotten? Ahh! This is going to be a long 12-15 months! Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could give us just a thought on what you think of our evidence and if you can think of something we've missed.

- Joint insurance for our old car
- Joint insurance for our current car
- Joint ownership for our current car
- Joint bank account for 1 year with all statements highlighted (for the first 8 months or so we would transfer money into it to pay for things but it got confusing and so now we have all of our income put into that account and it is our everything account) This shows all of our day to day expenses now.
- Joint high interest savings account (only had it for 1 month because after putting all our income in the other we started to save a lot)
- Bank statements for the 6 months before we got a joint account showing shared finances
- Lease agreements with both our names on it for 18 months
- Our superannuation statements showing previously preferred beneficiaries and current showing binding beneficiaries
- 4 travel itineraries, (1 showing us travelling with his parents but this was before we lived together, 1 in July to see his family back home)
- 20 photos (including with each others parents/family)
- Christmas and Easter cards (some with dates) from family and friends
- 888 form from his dad, my dad and mum plus 4 friends all aus PR or citizens (1 friend lived with us in shared housing and he mentioned that he knew we were living in the 1 room as a couple, we had 1 bed etc)
- 10 pieces of mail sent to us individually and 3 sent together (plus our bank statements have our address on it and both names)
- Our drivers licence showing our addresses
- A screen shot of my centrelink profile page showing they are aware I'm in a de facto with my partner. (I also work 2 jobs)
- Facebook screenshot of both of us showing mutual friends and relationship status
- Screen shot of both of our works showing we are emergency contacts
- Screen shot of my uni records showing emergency contacts
- Plus our own individual stat dec statements

If there is anything you think we've missed or something that could help us!
Thanks in advanced guys!

Quite honestly, yours seems like one of the most solid cases I've seen here. Is there anything specific you're concerned about?

Hi College Girl,

Thanks for your reply! Not anything in particular. I guess just because it is a lot of money and you just never know how the CO is going to see it? Thanks for having a look

I'd kill to have all this evidence!
Well not kill exactly, but it's damn good compared to what we've got and what others have. Good luck.
