Washington partner and pmv visas are now being processed in Otawa?

Hello there!

Im a little confused, I applied for PMV and my application is being process in washington, but I have a friend who is also applying for pmv and Otawa call center told her that now all partner visas will be processed in Canada!
OMG probably now can take longer, and i dont know if my application will be sent to canada.

Somebody know anything about this?

thank you

The call center in Canada handles calls from all North American countries, including the US, and has been for years now. This is not new. US visas are still being processed in DC. Nothing has changed (at least as far as I'm aware).

I applied for a tourist visa back in 2010 and it took 6 weeks at that time.
