yes you can apply a tv to visit your partner while waiting for your partner visa but you need to let the embassy know when you intend to leave your country so they could contact you when your partner visa use to come out and they will ask you to leave australia first before releasing your partner visa

Thanks for reply
so if I can apply for the tourist visa than do we need to inform them about this .. and if yes than to whom and how? Because my application is not yet opened .. so no any CO is allocated to me ... and one another doubt I have in mind is about processing time of tourist visa .. am from India .. how much long time embassy ll take to process my tourist visa ?? If can apply apply for tourist visa .. is this create any problem or slow down the process of my partner visa ??

'Them' is the same agency so when u apply they will know but yes u can let ur case officer know u are applying but more importantly if u are successful and are applying for pmv 300 off shore u need to let ur co know when u will be in oz so they don't accidentally grant it while ur in oz
