where to send ielts results on a 457?

Hi all

Well, I haven't been in here for over a year, one of the reasons being I forgot my password, which I just found in an old tekstbook (yeah, should just have asked for a new, I know!!). Another being personal circumstances, that shattered our OZ deams for a year, but now, WOOHOO - hubby has been offered a job as a Sales Manger (asco 131112) on a 457, which we have accepted.
Anyway, I prefer this forum, so even though I have asked this in another (with no answers given) perhaps someone in here can help me now??
My question is very simple:

Hub has to do an ielts test here in Copenhagen at the end of September.
He is about to fill out the form for the ielts-office in Denmark, and we have to fill out whether he would like the results to be sent to any body (other than us, off course).
And this is the question: Should we write some sort of DIAC adress on it, so that DIAC can get the results directly? And if so, which DIAC adress? My husbands company-to-be, will send the forms from Brisbane, so some sort of DIAC office in Brisbane or what?
Or will they just accept the score, we fill in on the 1066 form in a month or two? With us of course sending them a certified copy of the test result-paper.

Cheers to any response. Kind regards Marianne.

Hi,

You wouldn't want the IELTS results to get lost somewhere at the wrong address. If the sponsoring company is going to take care of all of the paperwork, maybe you could send them the IELTS results.

I think it'd be ok to send them to the Brisbane office, otherwise I would ask the employer what they would do.

Whatever you do, I wouldn't stress to much about it So maybe ask the employer, and if they don't get back to you soon enoug just have them sent to yourself and you can forward them later.

Thank you for your reply, SarahM. Now we just need to find out what score he would need. Lots of people says 5 in each band, which I've also read on DIAC's webpage, however I read somewhere (can't find it) that some managers positions required more than 5 in each band, so I'll figure it out. We called DIAC, one lady told us 5, our company also called and DIAC thought 6, so I'll keep searching... :-)
