Thanks CollegeGirl, unfortunately she hasn't been receiving payslips, but we will be trying to get some off her employer if possible. But that's why we'll try to wait as long as possible to at least allow the joint bank account statements come into effect, though I think after what you and Engaus have said we should be able to have enough evidence to support us, at least from when we started the first lease using my bank statements and statements from the employer, landlord and with the stat decs. Like you said though, we'll do our best to paint a clear picture and provide as much evidence as possible.

Talk to the employer about the payslips. They are required by law to provide a payslip within a week of getting paid.

Does she get a payment summary at the end of the financial year. You can use that as evidence at the same address as well.

Thanks Mish, we will try to get as much out of them as possible. Hopefully they will be understanding of our position and be willing to help out. Also, i was just wondering, if we provide a statement from the landlord and employer, is it ok if it is only signed by them, or does it have to be a stat dec?

Personally in this situation I would get a stat dec as they hold more weight.

I agree with Mish. Given the weight you need the statement to hold, I would get a stat dec.

Thanks guys, we've gone and organised a stat dec from the landlord now, and my partners employer has agreed to provide all the required payslips and payment details. Fingers crossed it'll all prove to be enough, and thanks again for all the help!
