To work in Australia he will either have to be sponsored by an employer, or apply for permanent migration if he qualifies. Otherwise, to visit he will need a visitor visa (sc600). As he is from Egypt, where there are current security issues, you will need to make a good case for him to leave Australia before his visa runs our, otherwise visa may be refused as they might not believe his is a genuine temporary entrant.

Regards

Egyptians have slim to nil chance of getting a tourist visa (subclass 600). I have only seen Egyptians have success at a family sponsored tourist visa (available for family only not friends).

The only hope they have is that they are working in Saudi and Saudi is a rich country.

Alot of evidence will need to be provided that they will leave and even then there is no guarantee they will get a tourist visa.

Working visa depends on what their occupation is as they do not qualify for the working holiday visa.
