PMV Granted

Applied mid April via Russia for Fiance and 2 kids. They came to Australia on tourist visa about 3 or 4 months ago. About 3 weeks ago we got email to say need be offshore for 5-7 working days for decission. So we came to Vietnam, it was on our first day of departure from AU we got approved - but not see for 2 days later.

It is a beach weeding - a few helicopters and my Antonov AN2 as reception area, all sorted just need low tides and NOIM to make the date.

Back in Australia and PMV is active (and have internet and keyboard that works). I fought the system very very hard and I honestly expected we would have waited much longer for our visa. I don't recommend any to do the same, I got lucky as things went on I got more and more support from many in political positions - only a few months ago a good acquaintance of mine became the administrator of our government of the Northern Territory (last week he nearly sacked the government) He and many others have supported us on this long hard road. Many on here to have helped a lot too.

I don't need to name them, they are regular here but I thank them very much, and for putting up with my "I am frustrated posts"

A great forum Thanks guys.

Aaron

Hi Aaron - Thanks for putting a little background and context to your long struggle. I've been reading your posts for ages. Good to hear that your network and our community all helped to get you both here. Best wishes for your beach wedding. I can hear the choppers and the Antonov approaching. G'donya...
