Joint account while my wife overseas

can anyone tell me if I need to have a joint bank account between me and my wife while shes overseas knowing that it might be not possible in her country (Iraq) I can only send her money through money transfer agent which I have been doing regularly.
also will I have to provide any payment summary for my work as its just casual work along with centerlink or it would be disadvantage for me if I don't have a full time job,

It is good evidence to have a joint bank account but considering you are sending money that is also good evidence.

The problem is with a joint bank account in Australia she will need to be present in Australia to do the POI. Until that stage you can open the joint bank account but you can only deposit money you can't make any withdrawals. Therefore your only option would be to open a joint bank account in Iraq.

The transfers are good evidence though, make sure you keep the receipts of them as evidence.

Providing payments summaries isn't mandatory, some people provide them and others don't. If the case officer wants them they will ask for them. I didn't provide them and had no issues at all.

From memory the application form asks what the sponsors job is, so you will need to declare it on there anyway. I can't remember if they asked if it was full time, part time etc.
