Alternative Birth Proof

Just wanted to know what if the CO ask for birth certificate for my step daughter , because it has been a mistake with her birth date I wont be providing it neither can correct it which is different from other IDs that I have translated and certified that clearly shows her true birth date, photo and both parents names ,
are the other IDs enough or I will be asked to provide it and as I mentioned I have tried to correct it but no success.
thanks

I can guarantee that you will be asked to provide a birth certificate.
My wife's birth certificate had no first name listed and she had to have it amended, to do so she had to supply things like baptismal and school records to back up her claim
It took a long time and was not cheap.

Depending on which jurisdiction you are in you might be able to pay a 'statutory correction fee' or if the registrar was a fault, receive a free correction. In some jurisdictions a court order is needed no matter who stuffed up.

For migration purposes you MIGHT get away with statutory declarations stating that the person described in the birth certificate is the same one described in other ID and how the declarantknows this.

A defective birth certificate could create endless problems and should be corrected.

You may be able to not supply it but I don't like your chances especially since you will be applying in the middle east. Alot of middle eastern embassies even ask for the original birth certificate to be submitted (and marriage certificate too).
