The visa grant will provide an Initial Entry Date, which is typically one year from the date you completed your medical and police checks, whichever is earlier. You simply need to visit Australia before this date to activate the visa. You will then have 5 years from the date the visa is granted to make your move. If you are able to move by the Initial Entry Date, then you can save yourself an extra trip, but that will depend on how quickly you can get your things sorted.
