And could you tell me about what requirements and documents I need for my step son.. He is 8 years old.. And in India.. He is secondary applicant on our 461 visa, his biological father hasn't seen him for the last 4 years and on divorce decree it's written that he will be living with mother

Sorry I don't know much about migrating children best to post in Ask Mark.

Usually you need a form 1229 form to be completed by the ex but if your wife has full custody it may be different.

They pass on all communication from the embassy to you. Most of their work is involved in helping you with a strong application.

The agents will also help with any waivers that are required. I do believe if you need a waiver it will cost more as it takes more time for the agent to do it.
