I did mine mine in Melbourne at : https://www.medibankhealth.com.au/im...a-medicals.asp
almost two months before I lodged my application.

Some say you should wait until they ask for it, so it won't expire before the application is finalised..
( mine had passed 12 months before my visa was granted but they didn't ask for a new one)

(PLEASE SEE MY NEXT POST)

Sorry..
maybe I was to Quick there.
on the website they say that MEDIBANK don't do it anymore????
Maybe someone else knows more about this better than I do..

Now they refer to this Welcome to Bupa Medical Services

It will tell you about the nearest one.

In Melbourne, for example;

Bupa Dedicated Medical Assessment Centre
717 Bourke Street
Docklands VIC 3008

Honestly just wait until you are asked to do it. It's not going to speed up your processing time and given the long waits for visas these days it seems silly to run the risk of having to do it again.

From memory I think that they want Stat Dec's from people who is an Australian Citizen or A Permanent resident of Australia..

But a stat dec is a stat dec, and even if it is from someone thats NOT any of above, it explains and should be able to ad as evidence of your committed relationship. .

My thoughts only,
maybe others on the forum are better informed than I am..

Hi again, I am applying now and are wondering if I have to submit an application for my partner also after paying or just upload the evidence?

Plus do I need to put in a form 47S and 40S signed?

Passport photos also?

And which category should I attach an insurance from Sweden and also the history of my and my partners relationship i.e. stat dec we wrote ourself?

I am so nervous.

You need to complete a application to sponsor a partner as well.

One passport photo each.

You dont need to complete the 40 and 47 forms as the online forms replace these.

You will see the categories after you lodge so just select the best fit. I don't think it matters as long as it is uploaded as the case officer will be able to see all.

You mentioned a picture of your dog to prove you have one together, it's super easy to register ownership of a pet so you could do this and put the dog under both your names, it also only costs about $8 last time I checked shows joint purchase/responsibility and a long term commitment.

Here is another hint ( if you haven't done it already)
Change your address at SKATTEMYNDIGHETEN in Sweden to your Australian address .
And make sure you put like:
Your First name , Surname
C/O Your Partners name , Partners Surname
Address
Australia

Then you will have another proof of commitment for free. ( Personbevis)
Once that is done you can download a pdf about where you live from SKATTEMYNDIGHETEN on their website in English.
And automatically you have all swedish government things sent to your Australian address.. like försäkringskassan, pensionsmyndigheten and so on..
It shows commitment and is quite easy to do.
