Couple visa Berlin office, CO contact

Me and My boyfriend applied the 23rd of May at the Berlin office and are now waiting to hear about visa. We found out we would be in the next allocation process 3.5 wks ago but since then nothing Has anyone else had contact with their co at Berlin? Or is like they say in their emails that they only contact you if they need information? Has anyone that applied for couple visa in may had their visa approved?

Frankie,
So how are you doing it? You coming back to Europe ? Or flying to nz when it gets granted? And how do you do it with the tourist visa?
When in June did you apply?

Sounds like à good plan!im thinking I might have to go down before it's approved.. Some more questions 4x 3 tourist visa? Is that 12 months visa? And how do you apply for that? Do you go through Berlin ?
Do you know how far in advance they let you know about the couple visa?

The tourist visa is valid for 12 months, you can travel in and out of Australia freely during that time (I think) but you have to leave every 3 months. Hopefully you only have to do it once when the partner visa is approved.
I applied for the tourist visa online thru the immi website. Its called Tourist e676. Its free for EU citizens and approved pretty much instantly.

Good luck!

not sure if you can do it like that frankie?? and even if you could, all the trips to NZ might get expensive!

asis yes my partner is here in australia. she is on an e676 visa while we wait for the 309 visa to be processed in berlin..... we got sick of waiting and being apart!

she just applied online and it was approved in about a week. it is valid for 12mo and cost $110. she doesn't have to leave every 3mo. unfortunately she can't work, so she is doing an english class.

Tourist (e676) Visa - Online Applications

hopefully we hear from berlin soon
