going to NZ to apply for the Work & Holiday visa

Hello all,

I am entering Australia on a tourist visa in Nov, then plan to go to NZ in Feb to apply online for the W&H visa. The processing time is 6 days according to the Immi website. Can I trust that and make travel arrangements accordingly (maybe give myself 10 days-2wks)? Has anyone done this without difficulty? I would hate to be stuck in NZ for a month...

to OZ!
