Prospective Marriage Visa waiting times

Hi i am from Australia, i am 25 years old , and my fiance/girlfriend is 24 and from Canada, we are lodging a prospective marriage visa very soon, we have gone through a agent to make sure everything is spot on, and goes as quickly as possible.

I would like to here from anyone in our situation, how long it took for your visa to get approved.

Thanks

Hi i think it depends on were your submitting your application, i live in Malta and my application went through to Berlin and ive being waiting since May and im still waiting, as are allot of other applicants. Are you applying onshore or off shore?
Going through an agent like i did doesnt make it any quicker believe me, i am using an agent in Perth.

Yes, what louiseb said. There's no set time, some are granted almost immediately, some take a few months, some (like my fiance's) take well over 12mths.
