Talking Finally! It's my turn to celebrate

I just wanted to let everyone know that my husband was finally granted his 309 visa last Friday after about 5 months. He didn't notice the grant e-mail unitl today. Oh well, it doesn't matter because now we can move on with our lives and start planning our new start in Australia.

To all those who are still waiting, have faith that it will come to you too. Please don't stress out about it, because the more you stress the longer the process feels. If you have a clear-cut, no-fuss case, then it shouldn't take too long to be processed.

Thank you all for your support, and please feel free to ask any questions you might have.

I completely agree with your comments regarding not stressing - life is already stressful enough without putting extra pressure on ourselves by raising our expectations about the visa processing timeframes. Be patient, give your CO the space they need to do their job, and as has happily happened in your case, the right decision will be made
