Acknowledgement letter

Hello,

I am new here, came to Australia on a PMV, got married in August and have since applied for the spouse visa 820/801.
I have lodged the application on 30th September and called immigration a couple of days ago as I haven't received the acknowledgement letter yet. I have been informed that it went to the wrong address (typo when they entered my address details... ) and that it can not be resend... They have sent me an email with a letter for medicare to get at least that sorted, but I am wondering what other information would have been in the acknowledgement letter?
Can anyone help?

Thank you guys!

It probably would have told you about what do after arriving in Australia, how to apply for the married spouse visa, and how to get a password for your VEVO online visa information. There would have also been a grant number, which is usually needed when going through all other visa processes from now on. It would have also mentioned how to get free English lessons when in Australia.

I'm surprised they didn't email one too you as well. My husband only got an email, but others have received both.
