Withdraw TR and change into student visa onshore???

Hi I'm currently thinking about withdrawing my TR and change into a student visa. Can anyone help me with this?

My relationship with my partner is not going well and I'm thinking to notify the department about our seperation. The problem is I've only started studying and do wish to continue my study since I've already paid a huge amount of school tuition.

I've contacted immi but got different answers each time I called. I just need to know weather I can apply for my student visa onshore or do I have to leave Australia?

Also, does withdrawing my TR affect my student visa at any aspect? Will my student visa application get denied?

Thanks so much for the help

Hi, I was wondering if you had any progress with this?
I am in a similar situation and want to withdraw my application and change it to a student visa onshore. Was this possible after you withdrew your application or did you have to go offshore to get your student visa processed?
