Change in ANZSCO code

In 2012, I cleared my assessment under "System Analyst" . At that time due to some reason, i was not able to complete the further process.

But since its more than 2 years I have to apply again, but my skill set matches more to "Software Engineer - 261313 ).

Since, there is change in skill set, I am confused whether changing my skill will have any negative impact.
Also, if I apply with new skill then do my complete experience will be considered or not.

Please suggest.

If you want to now apply under 261313, you will need a skills assessment for this code. Whether your complete experience will match this code will depend if the assessors feel it is relevant.
