Shared housing and partner visas

Hey guys! We've already lodged our application and were currently living in a unit with just the two of us. Lately we've been thinking about moving back to shared housing with a friend of ours just given the money we can save and the better location. We'd have our own ensuite. Do you think living in shared is going to affect the way our visa looks to immigration? Or will it come across as not being serious enough or anything?

Thanks guys!

It shouldn't affect your application. The test you have to pass is that you have a genuine and continuing relationship to the exclusion of all others. All the evidence you provide just points towards that. Sharing accommodation is part many relationships when you are starting out in life so that you can save some money.
