Talking 309/100 visa GRANTED!!! (Lodged in Vietnam)

Hey everyone!

Been a hectic few days! But my visa has processed!

I'm a British citizen who was living in Vietnam with my Australian fiancee so we lodged the 309 there.

Our car officer was brilliant and after our contact ended in Vietnam we told him we were going to the uk and then back to Australia (me on a tourist visa) we gave him the dates and he told us to hold of on the tourist visa.... 36 hours before we fly we got told the 309 had been granted and we had qualified for the 100!!!!

So I'm back in Australia as a permanent resident! Words cannot describe how happy i am!!!!

Total time..... 9 months and 3 weeks from ho chi minh!

Hyperion, aakk and Elune like this.

like Mish said. My partner and I have been together for 4 years and as of January we had been living together for 3 years, so in January we emailed our case officer to let him know and he told us he had changed our application to the 100 visa!

That is interestint jennie because it is meant to be an at lodgement requirement.
