Smile Help Needed to look for Visa

Hi All,

Very Good Morning to All. I am new to this forum as I am about to make a decision for Australia migration. I have an extensive experience of more than 8 years in the field of IT. Presently settled in Malaysia for the last 5 years. I am a Master degree holder as well as my wife. I am looking for Visa that will enable me to work in Australia and then get the PR. What would be the best suggestion from you all.

Thanks All for all the help

Have you already looked at the DIBP website at the visa options?
Work in Australia

You need to be able to get a positive skills assessment for an occupation on one of the two skills lists: SOL or CSOL. Depending on which list your occupation is on, this will determine which visas may be possible.

If you have an IT occupation you will be skill assessed by the Australian Computer Society. A good place to start is by having a good look at the ACS website and downloading a couple of documents they have there about how to have your skills assessed.

Thanks for your help.

I have researched a bit and found out that it provides 10 point for 5 years of Overseas Work Experience. I will be completing my fifth year in the month of september 2015. Should I start applying for the assessment at ACS now or wait till September?

Thanks in Advance

There are some decisions you have to make on your own.
