visitor visa taking waaay too long

Hey all,

I recently lodged a family sponsored visitor visa (600) online for my husband on the 17th of March. I have not recieved any response yet and its really frustrating, I wouldnt even mind if the visa got refused as long as I get a response, but its taking a lot more time than I expected. I even sent the department an email last week but no response from that either. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Also what could be the reason for the delay?
