Applied for Partner Visa from USA

Hi everyone!

I'm an Aussie, my husband is a US Citizen. We have been married for 5 years and plan to relocate to Australia.

We applied for his Partner Visa application from here in New Orleans, USA about a week ago now. On the Immi Accounts, it says "Submitted" and they payment has gone through fine. Just wondering how long it take for the initial processing and hearing from a Case Officer? (..so I don't panic if it's normal to take a while..)
