Hey, Im new to this forum, but its great to hear that other people are in the same boat as me! Im British and my OH is an Aussie. We submitted our partner visa application on 6th July, in Auckland via our agent.

Does anyone know the current expected processing time, as our agent is quite vague when it comes to dates....

wwfl6862 , as far as I know, you can travel as much as you like whilst your visa is being processed. the only thing that they are strict about is where you are at the time of approval. You must not be in Oz!! other than that I'm pretty sure they dont mind where you go, as long as you are contactable in case they need more info re your application....

hey all!

I think you can be in Oz at the time the visa is approved but to validate that visa you must leave the country and then re enter! that's what someone at immigration told me anyway ( then again I've been told many different things)

I lodged my application 309 today at Auckland. Im an Indian PhD student in Auckland. After reading your updates in the thread. It feels like long way to go. Looks like there are no updates about your visas. Please share your current status folks.
