Unhappy Why cant we be together..

I have been in travelling OZ for 5 months, in this time i have found the man of my dreams my very own "peter andre" lol.. We have been inseprable for 4 months,I am struggling to find work and may have to go home in a month, My boyfriend is willing to give up his job, car, friends to move back to the UK with me as he cant stand to loose me, we are in a difficult situation as we would be both be spending so much time in the UK & Australia we are guenine and have no reason why we should get married or have children that just to be taken serious by IMMI.
I would love us to build a life out here but i am very confused with the visa's as i dont have a skill on the list is the defacto option the best? I have read somewhere that you need to be married within 9 months of having that visa granted, but i have no intention on rushing the one special day in a girls life. We have no intention of applying or anything as of yet as we will need to see how we go spending a few weeks apart at a time but i need some reasurance that there is hope...

Any suggestions welcome,

The defacto visa requires you to be living together for 12 months prior to applying. You can apply outside or inside Australia. You can have short breaks of being apart during that 12 months if work and visas don't allow it to be continuos.

If you are living with your partner now and will only have a short break before he goes to uk you could probably start counting the 12 months from when you moved in together here.

The prospective marriage visa is for people who are engaged and planning on being married within 9 months of the visa being granted.
