Visa 309 Approved - Urgent advice need on concerns
Hi everyone in the forum.
Before getting to the main issue at hand, here is a brief description of my situation.
After nearly a two relationship including marriage to a Thai national, our (my wife's) application for a partner visa 309 has just been approved.
I met my Thai wife in early 2010 on a quick visit to Thailand while on a business trip to Singapore. We met at a Pizza hut (where she worked) I visited the Pizza hut several times and began a conversation with her which resulted in a meeting out of work hours and tour of the area the over a few days.
We exchanged emails and phone numbers then I left Thailand. A month passed and she made contact with me and this became a regular thing. I made four trips back to Thailand during 2010 and 2011 and because of my wife coming to Australia twice she quit her job and I have been supporting her financially (which to me is no different that dating/marrying an Australian woman) for this period
My wife has recently returned to Thailand after being in Australia on second tourist visa.
Maybe and hopefully I am worrying (or concerned) unnecessarily but since her return to Thailand she seems to have changed somewhat. Our hour + long conversations are nearly non existent, She seems busy and cannot talk for long and it is usually a one way conversation, she seems annoyed when I call and has very little to say and gets angry if I asked too many questions about what she is doing or going etc. her response has been "I do what I want, when I want and you don't need to know"
I have read many horror stories of Thai/Western relationship and now ponder for many hours wondering if I am to become another victim?
The reason I am feeling this way is because I spoke with my wife today and she asked now that the visa has been approved can she travel to other countries on the visa.
When I asked what she meant, she said maybe I can go to England or Europe or some other country if I don't want to stay in Australia.
Have I been used to help her get a permanent visa to make it easy for her to travel as you would be aware of the hassle to obtain travel visa's for Thais as opposed to Australians.
I am up in the air on what I should or should not do. Am I thinking too much? Or putting unnecessary thoughts in my head.
Help or advice would be appreciated before I outlay any more costs (including an airline ticket)
Should "let it go" and see what happens or end everything now?
