Wondering whether we would just be better off getting hitched there and then figuring things out after that. Any advice?
How long ago did you apply?

It was 3 months before we heard anything. They asked for one thing and it has been another 2 months with no more contact.

I expect another few months of nothing in the normal course of applications.

Since the day after we applied 9 months ago we have heard absolutely nothing.
Slightly frustrating.

Wow. 9 months. Are one of you in a high-risk country?

Sounds about right. Maybe another 10 days and you get it after the 9 month guide time

I am hoping for 9 months completion... Maybe about March.

We were only contacted as they needed more info that we left out.

Vietnam grants seem to be running at around 10 months. Some earlier and some later. I just hope it doesn't run the full 12 months. Got a job opportunity for us the could be ruined if it does. Oh well such is the game we are all in..
