Financial evidence for de facto visa

Hi,

Just a quick question regarding your experience with showing financial evidence. My partner and I have a joint bank account as our main proof, do I give them statements for the whole period (we will go for PR so we have to prove the last 3 years !!) or is it enough to show them extracts for every few months? It seems like a lot to print out and highlight 3 years worth of bank statements! Please share what you have provided and whether it was sufficient. Thanks!

No you don't need to include every statement. Include the earliest one and the latest one and a few in between highlighting purchases or transactions that are relevant to your relationship. Eg. Household payments, income, payments for holidays together etc.

Hi GermanInBrissie,

Extracts should be fine. I think we only sent a couple of statements to show transactions. I think we also sent the contract we signed with the bank when we opened the account. Getting a little tricky to remember now though!

Hello,
I think your records for the last 6 months will do...
