birth certificate?

hey!
me and my partner are applying for PMV soon.
a lil thing my partner missing is her birth certificate.. is a copy of her australian passport enough or does she need to reissue her birth certificate?
pls let me know.

As the sponsor, a copy of her passport is fine just to proove she is an Australian resident/ citizen.
