Beware Global Visas!

Global Visas are a scam operation. They make promises that they have no intention of acting upon, and prey on peoples dreams by taking large amounts of money from them and doing absolutely nothing in return. They are pretending to be a recruitment agent as well as a migration agent, and will promise you the whole package including finding you a job and walking you through the visa process. They tell you that you are perfectly qualified and they will have no problem finding you a job within 3 to 4 months. Unfortunately, they forget to tell you the pitfalls of a particular visa (the one they are recommending to you), but if you are serious, you will do your research and find this stuff out anyway, which will add weight to my argument here. Communication from Global Visas only happens when you pester them, and when asked for a report of what has been done, they fob you off with excuses and more hollow promises. When asked for any of the companies to whom they have submitted your CV, they cannot reply. I intend to spread the word via the internet about my experience with this company in the hope that other hopefuls will not be fooled into spending their hard earned money here. I have been asking for a refund, but once again, nothing is being done. I believe Global Visas have to be registered as a migration agent with whatever country they are representing you to, in my case Australia. I intend to report the company to the Australian migration authority, and any other countries that I can find the migration authority address for.
Unfortunately I fell for this, and am now considerably out of pocket. My migration aspirations have been severely dashed as I cannot afford to lose this money, and am no longer prepared to pay anyone else up front for services they have not yet provided. There are very few professions where you pay for the work before it is done, but I would recommend that anyone considering this make their payments after work has been done or in stages in order to avoid over paying for something you will never get.
