309/100 Partner Visa Offshore Waiting Group for Belgium/Spain

Hello all,

Anyone waiting for the partner visa 309/100 offshore, especially from Belgium or Spain. Could you share your experience please?

When did you submit your application? online vs paper format?
Have you been assigned a CO yet?
Any communication from the department?

Thanks in advance!

folks, you applied 1 month ago

i'd advise to buckle up your seat belt, leave your hopes at the door and prepare for a long ride because there is no-one getting a visa until at least 8-9 months minimum

Niall, stop being a party pooper!
Let them share their stories as this method can ease the long wait.

But false hope can be equally soul destroying as month after after month drags by with no communication from DIBP. Certainly a burden shared is a burden haved but not educating posters to the reality of the system is doing them no favour.

Also, just a suggestion - those waiting for a 309/100 in this thread might be better served to seek out threads specific to their embassy. Your wait is going to be comparable to those who applied through the same embassy, but can and will be vastly different from the wait for people applying through other embassies.

Hi CollegeGirl,
Yes, that's what I am trying to do, reaching out to anyone who is applying through Spain. Unfortunately, I searched and searched, but I found no threads relating to this. There must be someone out there, right?

This is a case of half full and half empty!
Unfortunately immigration has no consistency so being hopeful and positive is better than negative and hopeless!
